Varnum LLP seeks to hire an Associate Attorney to join the Corporate Practice Team in one of our Michigan offices.

This associate will assist the team in business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private offerings, capital restructuring, and similar transactions. The ideal candidate will have 3 – 5 years of law firm experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead transactions in a first chair capacity strongly preferred. Expertise is required in general corporate work, contract review and drafting, and merger and acquisition transactions.

Successful candidates will possess excellent academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness; exceptional attention to detail; and outstanding customer/client service skills. Admission to the Michigan bar is required.
