Description

The position is for an associate attorney for litigation purposes. This will involve litigation in the areas of Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability. The attorney will represent injured workers and disabled persons. This will involve frequent court appearances in both the trial and administrative hearing settings. This is a very busy and successful law firm. The associate will be able to learn the role quite quickly, thus experience is not necessary. There will be constant client contact as well as contact with defense attorneys, doctors (for the purpose of taking deposition testimony) and administrative law judges. This will also require becoming familiar with the fundamentals of medical knowledge, as it applies to litigation. Much of the legal processing and client contact can be done remotely, from home.This is a wonderful opportunity for a fast track to partnership and ownership shares.

Requirements

The candidate must be a licensed attorney and have a desire to engage in in-court practice.
